Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these Terms.
If you refuse to accept these Terms, you will not be able to order any Products.
You should print a copy of these Terms or save them to your computer for future reference.
We amend these Terms from time to time. Every time you wish to order Products, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms which will apply at that time. These Terms were most recently updated on 19 March 2024.
These Terms, and any Contract between us, are only in English.
1. Information about us
1.1 We operate the website www.cakemoment-wedding.com. We are Jade Sugar Art Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15462646 and with our registered office at Flat 6, Consortia House, London, SW19 1FR.

2. Terms and Conditions for Cake Taste Box
2.1 Order and Payment
2.1.1 We accept ordering cake taste boxes via our website only.
2.1.2 These purchases can be made and are permitted strictly pursuant to the terms and conditions set out below.
2.1.3 Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. After placing an order, you will receive an email from us. This email is an Order Confirmation which notify you of the fact we have received and accepted your order.
2.1.4 Order will be cut-off 3 days before the post date. Any late request will not be accommodated.
2.1.5 We accept credit card / debit card payment via Stripe only.
2.1.6 When purchasing a cake taste box, by checking the box indicating your acceptance of these Terms, you represent that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2.1.7 All cake flavour in the cake taste box cannot be altered or customized.
2.2 Changes in Post Date
2.2.1 Request of changing post date should be raised to us by email at least 7 calendar days before post date. No reschedule will be accepted within 7 days before poste date as production is in progress.
2.2.2 The requested new post date must be one of the date specified on our website. No other customized dates can be arranged.
2.2.3 Please note that reschedule will only be honoured on one occasion. Any further reschedule will be regarded as cancellation. Please refer to the Clause 2.3.
2.2.4 We cannot accept request for changes without permission from person placed order and made payment.
2.2.5 Request of changing post date is subjected to Jade Sugar Art Limited’s final decision and may not be accepted. In case of any disputes, the decision of Jade Sugar Art Limited shall be final.
2.3 Cancellation
2.3.1 Once the order has been paid, the order can be cancelled by either party by email subject to the matters set out in this clause.
2.3.2 By customer:
a) Within 14-day cooling off period
2.3.2.1 If the customer cancels the order within 14 days from entering into the contract and the cancellation date is at least 7 calendar days before post date, then the monies paid shall be repaid to the customer in full. If the cancellation date is less than 7 calendar days before post date, no refund will be made as preparation work is in place.
b) After 14-day cooling off period
2.3.2.2 If the customer cancels the order more than 14 days after entering into the contract, then all monies paid is forteited and will not be repayable to the customer.
2.3.3 By Jade Sugar Art Limited:
2.3.3.1 We shall not be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control including but not limited to any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.
2.3.3.2 In the event of exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, Jade Sugar Art Limited will give as much notice as possible if we are unable to fulfill your order. We will postpone to post the cake taste box on the next dispatch date or refund you any monies already paid within 14 days of cancellation whichever is agreed with both parties. No further sum or compensation will be payable to customer.
2.4 Delivery of Cake Taste Boxes
2.4.1 Each cake taste box will be dispatched on the date chosen by customer. It is customer’s responsibility to check the correct post day upon placing order via website. Request of resending cake taste box on another day is not accepted.
2.4.2 Order will be delivered by Royal Mail Tracked 24 service and Royal Mail aims to deliver in next working day of postage. Jade Sugar Art Limited is not responsible for any delay caused by Royal Mail.
2.4.3 All cake taste boxes are free shipping.
2.4.4 Signature on delivery is not required.
2.4.5 If the item is refused by the recipient, no refund nor replacement can be made and the goods will be discarded.
2.4.6 We do not deliver to P.O. boxes.
2.4.7 While we deliver to most locations nationwide, the following postcode areas we are unable to currently offer postal delivery to:

2.4.8 If any part of your order is found missing or damaged, please contact us and we will aim to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. You may be asked to provide a photo of the damaged items for us to process a refund. Upon receipt of your delivery, please make all enquiries within 24 hours, after that we may be unable to process a refund.
2.4.9 It is customer’s responsibility to provide the correct shipping address. We are not responsible if incorrect delivery information is provided.
2.4.10 Cutlery is not included in the cake taste box.
2.4.11 The cake taste box shall be placed out of sunlight and stored in fridge. Best consumed in 3 days upon receipt. For best serving, allow 20-30 minutes at room temperature before consumption.
2.5 Allergen Information

3. Terms and Conditions for Bespoke Cakes
3.1 Order and Payment
3.1.1 We accept ordering bespoke cakes via email. For ordering wedding cakes, reservation from 3 months to 18 months in advance is required. For ordering other celebration cakes, reservation from 1 month to 3 months in advance is required.
3.1.2 These purchases can be made and are permitted strictly pursuant to the terms and conditions set out below.
3.1.3 Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. After placing an order, you will receive an email from us. This email is an Order Confirmation and Invoice which notify you of the fact we have received and accepted your order.
3.1.4 The total amount to be paid consists of the full price of the cake, delivery fee and additional fee. Additional fee is not applicable to every order and may only apply to changing cake size and/or adopting complicated design and decorations. We will communicate and get agreement with customers before adding into the total amount.
3.1.5 The Order Confirmation will list out the amount to be paid (shown below) along with its payment schedule.
i) Reservation Deposit (Please refer to Clause 3.1.8-3.1.9)
ii) Partial Payment (Please refer to Clause 3.1.10-3.1.14)
iii) Final Payment (Please refer to Clause 3.1.10-3.1.14)
3.1.6 We accept bank transfer as payment method only.
3.1.7 For each payment, customer is required to provide a transaction proof for specific order. Failure to provide a transaction proof will not be considered as a successful payment. Customer is responsible to apply for a record from the bank. Please be aware that we are not liable to check the records on behalf of customers.
Reservation Deposit
3.1.8 Reservation is confirmed only when £150 deposit is paid with receipt sent to our email " [email protected] ". Customers shall make payment within 3 days upon receipt of the invoice. Reservation is regarded as unsuccessful if no payment is made in time.
3.1.9 A £150 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. By paying the deposit, you are entering the contract and are agreeing and legally binding to the Terms and Conditions. Please refer carefully to the Cancellation Policy Clause 3.3.
Partial Payment & Final Payment
3.1.10 If the contract was entered over 62 days before delivery, partial payment (50% of cake price) is due and shall be paid 31 calendar days from entering the contract. Final payment (Total amount due less any paid payments) is due and shall be paid 31 calendar days before delivery.
3.1.11 If the contract was entered within 32 days-62 days before delivery, partial payment will be skipped. Final payment (Total amount due less deposit paid) is due and shall be paid 31 calendar days before delivery.
3.1.12 If the contract was entered within 31 days before delivery, a single payment of full amount should be paid upon entering the contract. By paying full amount, you are entering the contract and are agreeing and legally binding to the Terms and Conditions. Please refer carefully to the Cancellation Policy Clause 3.3
3.1.13 Any late payment will be regarded of order cancellation by customer and will result in loss of fees paid to date. Please refer carefully to Clause 3.3. The booked date will be re-opened for public booking.
3.1.14 Any discount is not applicable to the deposit and the eligibility of the discount is subject to Jade Sugar Art Limited’s final decision. In case of any dispute, Jade Sugar Art Limited reserves the right of final decision.
3.2 Reschedule / Changes in Design or Cake Size
3.2.1 Request of changing delivery date / final cake design / cake sizes should be made at least 31 calendar days before delivery. No reschedule or changes in design / cake sizes will be accepted within 31 days before delivery as production is in progress.
3.2.2 The requested new delivery date must be at least 14 calendar days from the request date and it is subjected to our availability. Please note that reschedule will only be honoured on one occasion. Any further reschedule will be regarded as cancellation.
3.2.3 If the requested new delivery date is fully booked, reschedule cannot be arranged and no refund will be made. Please refer to cancellation policy in Clause 3.3
3.2.4 Changes in complicated design and / or enlarging cake sizes may involve additional fee. The fee increment shall be agreed by customer and Jade Sugar Art Limited.
3.2.5 We cannot accept request for change / cancel order without permission from person placed order and made payment.
3.2.6 Request of changing delivery date and/or cake size are subjected to Jade Sugar Art Limited’s final decision and may not be accepted. In case of any disputes, the decision of Jade Sugar Art Limited shall be final.
3.3 Cancellation
3.3.1 Once the deposit has been paid, the order can be cancelled by either party by email subject to the matters set out in this clause.
3.3.2 By customer:
a) Within 14-day cooling off period
3.3.2.1 If the customer cancels the order within 14 days from entering into the contract, and the delivery is over 45 days from entering the contract, then the deposit shall be repaid to the customer in full.
3.3.2.2 If the customer cancels the order within 14 days from entering into the contract, but the delivery is within 45 days from entering the contract, then the 14 day cooling off period as stated in Clause 3.3.2.1 will not apply and all the deposit and monies paid will be non-refundable.
b) After 14-day cooling off period
3.3.2.3 If the customer cancels the order more than 14 days after entering into the contract and at least 31 days before delivery, then the deposit and all monies paid is forteited and will not be repayable to the customer in any circumstances due to potential loss of other business on same day and preparation work in place.
3.3.2.4 If the customer cancels the order more than 14 days after entering into the contract and less than 31 days before delivery, then the deposit and all monies paid is forteited and will not be repayable to the customer in any circumstances. Additionally, the fees in full (less any monies paid) shall be due to Jade Sugar Art Limited.
3.3.3 By Jade Sugar Art Limited:
3.3.3.1 We shall not be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control including but not limited to any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.
3.3.3.2 In the event of exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, Jade Sugar Art Limited will give as much notice as possible if we are unable to fulfill your order. We will refund you any monies already paid within 14 days of cancellation and no further sum or compensation will be payable to customer.
3.4 Delivery
3.4.1 To ensure safe delivery, all cakes will be delivered by our team. No self pick-up is available.
3.4.2 Delivery fee bases on the travelling distance and may vary in case of changing delivery venue. Fee will be quoted upon enquiry. In case of changing delivery address, final delivery fee will be updated accordingly.
3.4.3 If Congestion Charge (CC) zone is involved, customer will be subject to the respective fee.
3.4.4 Delivery time slot ranges from 8am to 4pm. Any time slot out of the range is subject to our availability.
3.4.5 Actual delivery time slot will be confirmed 7 days before delivery.
3.4.6 All requested delivery date and delivery time is subject to our availability.
3.4.7 It is customer’s responsibility to provide the correct delivery time, venue and contact person at least 7 days before the delivery date. We are not responsible if incorrect delivery information is provided.
3.4.8 We may not be able to deliver if delivery address is within a controlled Zone with restriction drive into except permit holders. Please advise us in advance of delivery.
3.4.9 We will endeavour to deliver within the given time slot. However unfortunately delivery timings cannot be guaranteed. Refunds will not be given for delayed deliveries. We cannot be held liable for delays in delivery caused by uncontrollable circumstances. E.g. traffic, road closures, weather.
3.4.10 All deliveries shall be signed and acknowledged by the contact person. A delivery note will state, "I confirm that this cake has arrived in good and satisfied condition. No responsibility can be taken by Jade Sugar Art Limited for any subsequent damage once the cake has been handed over to the customer or venue. Jade Sugar Art Limited will not be liable should the customer believe there are any problems with the cake once it has been accepted, this includes design, colour or the bake of the cake." A photograph of the cakes will be taken as record.
3.4.11 We will cancel your delivery if no one can receive order upon delivery. No refund nor replacement can be made and the goods will be discarded.
3.4.12 We are not responsible for any damages found on the cake after acknowledgement.
3.4.13 Customers shall get their cake table, cake stand and cutlery ready before delivery time. It is customer’s responsibility to ensure the venue supply a suitable table and location for the cake to be displayed. If this location or display area is not suitable, we reserve the right to set up the cake in a more appropriate location.
3.4.14 The cake shall be placed out of sunlight and under a dry and cool condition before cake-cutting. Any cake placed outside or in a marquee or tipi during an event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to the heat. Although we will make every effort to ensure this would not happen. We are not liable for a cake once it has been delivered.
3.4.15 The cake shall be refrigerated until serving after cake-cutting. Cake should be consumed within 48 hours upon the delivery date.
3.5 Severe Weather Arrangement
3.5.1 All delivery service will be suspended when Amber Warning or Red Warning is in force for the delivery location and/or the transportation route from our kitchen.
3.5.2 Delivery service will resume as soon as Amber Warning and Red Warning is cancelled.
3.5.3 All orders affected by severe weather can be rescheduled to delivery on the following day. Please contact us as soon as possible for any rearrangements. Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded due to severe weather conditions. If you need to reschedule the order beyond the following day, it will be treated as a NEW order and charged accordingly.
3.6 Food Allergen Information
3.6.1 Our kitchen is not allergen-free. Our cakes contain eggs, milk, cereals containing gluten, nuts and soybeans and their products. Our kitchen handles all the main allergens of dairy, nuts, peanuts, cereals containing gluten, egg, sesame, mustard, fish, celery, molluscs, crustaceans, soya, lupin, sulphur dioxide and sulphites and may contain traces of them.
3.6.2 It is customer’s responsibility to alert guests of the allergen information before serving.
3.7 Our Cakes
3.7.1 All photos, illustrations and descriptions displayed on our website or social media platforms are for guidance purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Products. Your Products will vary slightly from those images especially as each product is handmade and decorated and we may change the manner in which the Product is decorated.
3.7.2 Slight design changes during production are at Jade Sugar Art Limited’s discretion and are not grounds for a refund. All cake designs are subject to artistic license and customer acknowledges this in placing order.
3.7.3 For decoration and structure supporting purpose, certain products such as sugar flowers and leaves, fondant figurines, dummy cakes, fondant balloons, cake toppers may include non-edible materials such as dowels, toothpicks, bamboo sticks, wires, floral tape, styrofoam fillings, acrylic or wood material. These will be detailed on the Delivery Note. Please remove the pieces before consuming the cakes.
3.7.4 We take no responsibility for misuse of non-edible items once delivery is completed.
3.7.5 All the flower decoations on our cakes are made with sugar flowers. We do not supply fresh flowers and do not offer service for assisting fresh flower decoration. If the customer wishes to include fresh flowers on cake, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure food safety. We have no liability for any contamination of the cake which may occur to inappropriate fresh flowers supplied.

3.1.11 If the contract was entered within 32 days-62 days before delivery, partial payment will be skipped. Final payment (Total amount due less deposit paid) is due and shall be paid 31 calendar days before delivery.
3.1.12 If the contract was entered within 31 days before delivery, a single payment of full amount should be paid upon entering the contract. By paying full amount, you are entering the contract and are agreeing and legally binding to the Terms and Conditions. Please refer carefully to the Cancellation Policy Clause 3.3
3.1.13 Any late payment will be regarded of order cancellation by customer and will result in loss of fees paid to date. Please refer carefully to Clause 3.3. The booked date will be re-opened for public booking.
3.1.14 Any discount is not applicable to the deposit and the eligibility of the discount is subject to Jade Sugar Art Limited’s final decision. In case of any dispute, Jade Sugar Art Limited reserves the right of final decision.
3.2 Reschedule / Changes in Design or Cake Size
3.2.1 Request of changing delivery date / final cake design / cake sizes should be made at least 31 calendar days before delivery. No reschedule or changes in design / cake sizes will be accepted within 31 days before delivery as production is in progress.
3.2.2 The requested new delivery date must be at least 14 calendar days from the request date and it is subjected to our availability. Please note that reschedule will only be honoured on one occasion. Any further reschedule will be regarded as cancellation.
3.2.3 If the requested new delivery date is fully booked, reschedule cannot be arranged and no refund will be made. Please refer to cancellation policy in Clause 3.3
3.2.4 Changes in complicated design and / or enlarging cake sizes may involve additional fee. The fee increment shall be agreed by customer and Jade Sugar Art Limited.
3.2.5 We cannot accept request for change / cancel order without permission from person placed order and made payment.
3.2.6 Request of changing delivery date and/or cake size are subjected to Jade Sugar Art Limited’s final decision and may not be accepted. In case of any disputes, the decision of Jade Sugar Art Limited shall be final.
3.3 Cancellation
3.3.1 Once the deposit has been paid, the order can be cancelled by either party by email subject to the matters set out in this clause.
3.3.2 By customer:
a) Within 14-day cooling off period
3.3.2.1 If the customer cancels the order within 14 days from entering into the contract, and the delivery is over 45 days from entering the contract, then the deposit shall be repaid to the customer in full.
3.3.2.2 If the customer cancels the order within 14 days from entering into the contract, but the delivery is within 45 days from entering the contract, then the 14 day cooling off period as stated in Clause 3.3.2.1 will not apply and all the deposit and monies paid will be non-refundable.
b) After 14-day cooling off period
3.3.2.3 If the customer cancels the order more than 14 days after entering into the contract and at least 31 days before delivery, then the deposit and all monies paid is forteited and will not be repayable to the customer in any circumstances due to potential loss of other business on same day and preparation work in place.
3.3.2.4 If the customer cancels the order more than 14 days after entering into the contract and less than 31 days before delivery, then the deposit and all monies paid is forteited and will not be repayable to the customer in any circumstances. Additionally, the fees in full (less any monies paid) shall be due to Jade Sugar Art Limited.
3.3.3 By Jade Sugar Art Limited:
3.3.3.1 We shall not be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control including but not limited to any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.
3.3.3.2 In the event of exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, Jade Sugar Art Limited will give as much notice as possible if we are unable to fulfill your order. We will refund you any monies already paid within 14 days of cancellation and no further sum or compensation will be payable to customer.
3.4 Delivery
3.4.1 To ensure safe delivery, all cakes will be delivered by our team. No self pick-up is available.
3.4.2 Delivery fee bases on the travelling distance and may vary in case of changing delivery venue. Fee will be quoted upon enquiry. In case of changing delivery address, final delivery fee will be updated accordingly.
3.4.3 If Congestion Charge (CC) zone is involved, customer will be subject to the respective fee.
3.4.4 Delivery time slot ranges from 8am to 4pm. Any time slot out of the range is subject to our availability.
3.4.5 Actual delivery time slot will be confirmed 7 days before delivery.
3.4.6 All requested delivery date and delivery time is subject to our availability.
3.4.7 It is customer’s responsibility to provide the correct delivery time, venue and contact person at least 7 days before the delivery date. We are not responsible if incorrect delivery information is provided.
3.4.8 We may not be able to deliver if delivery address is within a controlled Zone with restriction drive into except permit holders. Please advise us in advance of delivery.
3.4.9 We will endeavour to deliver within the given time slot. However unfortunately delivery timings cannot be guaranteed. Refunds will not be given for delayed deliveries. We cannot be held liable for delays in delivery caused by uncontrollable circumstances. E.g. traffic, road closures, weather.
3.4.10 All deliveries shall be signed and acknowledged by the contact person. A delivery note will state, "I confirm that this cake has arrived in good and satisfied condition. No responsibility can be taken by Jade Sugar Art Limited for any subsequent damage once the cake has been handed over to the customer or venue. Jade Sugar Art Limited will not be liable should the customer believe there are any problems with the cake once it has been accepted, this includes design, colour or the bake of the cake." A photograph of the cakes will be taken as record.
3.4.11 We will cancel your delivery if no one can receive order upon delivery. No refund nor replacement can be made and the goods will be discarded.
3.4.12 We are not responsible for any damages found on the cake after acknowledgement.
3.4.13 Customers shall get their cake table, cake stand and cutlery ready before delivery time. It is customer’s responsibility to ensure the venue supply a suitable table and location for the cake to be displayed. If this location or display area is not suitable, we reserve the right to set up the cake in a more appropriate location.
3.4.14 The cake shall be placed out of sunlight and under a dry and cool condition before cake-cutting. Any cake placed outside or in a marquee or tipi during an event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to the heat. Although we will make every effort to ensure this would not happen. We are not liable for a cake once it has been delivered.
3.4.15 The cake shall be refrigerated until serving after cake-cutting. Cake should be consumed within 48 hours upon the delivery date.
3.5 Severe Weather Arrangement
3.5.1 All delivery service will be suspended when Amber Warning or Red Warning is in force for the delivery location and/or the transportation route from our kitchen.
3.5.2 Delivery service will resume as soon as Amber Warning and Red Warning is cancelled.
3.5.3 All orders affected by severe weather can be rescheduled to delivery on the following day. Please contact us as soon as possible for any rearrangements. Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded due to severe weather conditions. If you need to reschedule the order beyond the following day, it will be treated as a NEW order and charged accordingly.
3.6 Food Allergen Information
3.6.1 Our kitchen is not allergen-free. Our cakes contain eggs, milk, cereals containing gluten, nuts and soybeans and their products. Our kitchen handles all the main allergens of dairy, nuts, peanuts, cereals containing gluten, egg, sesame, mustard, fish, celery, molluscs, crustaceans, soya, lupin, sulphur dioxide and sulphites and may contain traces of them.
3.6.2 It is customer’s responsibility to alert guests of the allergen information before serving.
3.7 Our Cakes
3.7.1 All photos, illustrations and descriptions displayed on our website or social media platforms are for guidance purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Products. Your Products will vary slightly from those images especially as each product is handmade and decorated and we may change the manner in which the Product is decorated.
3.7.2 Slight design changes during production are at Jade Sugar Art Limited’s discretion and are not grounds for a refund. All cake designs are subject to artistic license and customer acknowledges this in placing order.
3.7.3 For decoration and structure supporting purpose, certain products such as sugar flowers and leaves, fondant figurines, dummy cakes, fondant balloons, cake toppers may include non-edible materials such as dowels, toothpicks, bamboo sticks, wires, floral tape, styrofoam fillings, acrylic or wood material. These will be detailed on the Delivery Note. Please remove the pieces before consuming the cakes.
3.7.4 We take no responsibility for misuse of non-edible items once delivery is completed.
3.7.5 All the flower decoations on our cakes are made with sugar flowers. We do not supply fresh flowers and do not offer service for assisting fresh flower decoration. If the customer wishes to include fresh flowers on cake, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure food safety. We have no liability for any contamination of the cake which may occur to inappropriate fresh flowers supplied.
